About | Yucca gloriosa is caulescent, usually with several stems arising from the base, the base thickening in adult specimens. The long narrow leaves are straight and very stiff, growing to 30–50 cm long and 2–3.5 cm wide. Irrigation | Yucca is highly sensitive to water-logging. Water regularly in the spring and summer growing season, but make sure the plant has excellent drainage and dries between watering. Water sporadically in the winter. Never let a yucca plant sit in a tray of water.
