Light | In indoor condition, the plant requires indirect sunlight or diffused light. Avoid direct sun to protect the leaves against developing blotch or fading of colour. Yellowing of leaves notify the excess lighting. Abnormal elongation of stem denotes insufficient light. | ||||
Irrigation | Precaution to be taken not to dry out the medium. During summer, irrigate to moist the medium & spray on foliage frequently to create a rainforest like environment. During winter watch & irrigate, but don’t allow drying out the medium. Continue foliar spray during dry winter months. Be careful against root rot. Burry the aerial root in the medium or place moss stick to climb.
For tap water, preserve the water 24 hrs to minimise the presence of salts, chlorine, fluoride etc. |
