Pruning | Pruning of Jasmine to be done in the early monsoon to encourage the flowering. Pruning also helps to maintain the height & shape of the plant. | |||||
Light | For outdoor planting in hot bright sunlight in outdoor condition.
Can be grown as potted outdoor / garden plant; place the plant under direct sunlight for few hours in morning. NOTE: If the plant does not get enough sunlight, there will be a distinct lack of flowers, though equally too much sun can cause the flowers to wilt and drop. Having a good balance by allowing both some direct sunlight and partial shade. So a little trial may be required. |
|||||
Irrigation | Jasmine likes to have continuously moist medium but not water logged condition. So watering should be regular but in a regulated manner.
For tap water, preserve the water 24 hrs to minimise the presence of salts, chlorine, fluoride etc. |
